Fun Stay-At-Home Dinners

Things can start to seem repetitive when you’re eating at home each night, but staying in for dinner doesn’t have to be boring! We’ve come up with a few at-home theme dinners to make mealtime a little more fun!

Taco Tuesday

Get everyone excited for Taco Tuesday! Cook up some taco meat, rice, and beans and create a topping bar with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and all your favorite condiments! Cinnamon sugar ice cream is the perfect dessert to pair with this, and you can even whip up some homemade guacamole with the recipe below!

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 large lime (zest)
  • ¼ tsp chili powder (optional)

Smash your avocado in a large bowl.  Add in onion, garlic, chopped cilantro, and lime zest, then mix well. Squeeze in the lime juice, and add salt, pepper and chili powder to taste.  Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips!

Pizzeria Night

Get the family together for a homemade pizza night! Use a store-bought dough or crust and let everyone pile on their own toppings to create their perfect pizza. Finish things off with your favorite berries and whipped cream! Try out these Caprese Salad Skewers for a light and fresh appetizer.

  • Fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt /& pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil
  • Wooden skewers

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Add in the mozzarella and let marinate for at least one hour. Pull off basil leaves and remove the stems. Then, simply rotate adding basil, tomato and cheese to skewers. Serve cold and enjoy!

Burger Bar

Gather around the table for a burger bar! Fire up the grill and lay out a selection of everyone’s favorite burger toppings. Throw in some fries and mac and cheese and end the night with a cold milkshake! To save a little time, use frozen French fries and top them off with this restaurant-style seasoning blend.

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ¾ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Mix all of your dry ingredients in a small bowl.  Place your cooked fries in a large bowl and toss with melted butter until they are evenly coated. Then toss in your dry seasoning blend and mix until all fries are covered. Serve warm and enjoy!
